Digital Account Exec/Manager

Position: 6 month contract
Salary: £30k-£35k (Pro Rata)

This wonderful independent, Kent based advertising agency are looking for a Digital Account ‘person’ to join them for 6 months working on a large-scale loyalty campaign. You could be in the early throes of Account Management or you could be stepping up as an Account Exec.

If this account continues to grow, like they expect it to, there’s a good chance it could become permanent.

You’ll be one of the main points of contact for their online-first clients, helping to lead marketing projects from concept right through to execution, including project managing the account.

You’ll bring solid marketing experience and a strong customer service mindset, with a clear understanding of how digital marketing adds real value to business strategy and performance.

You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, keeping projects on track, and building trusted, long-term client relationships.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office.


Responsibilities.

  • Alongside the Digital Director and Digital Account Director, help deliver digital strategies for your assigned clients, considering their specific requirements and anticipating their needs.
  • Suggest, design and implement digital projects to increase customer ROI.
  • Work with the broader agency, in-house studio and development teams to brief, manage and deliver clients’ digital work.
  • Take ownership of timelines, budgets and quality control, ensuring every project meets client expectations.
  • Monitor all stages of campaigns and projects to ensure they run smoothly, remain on time and stay within budget.
  • Monitor and identify scope creep, ensuring additional requirements are highlighted to the client in advance with revised timelines and costs.
  • Ensure QA testing of all work is completed before submission to clients for approval.
  • Schedule and participate in regular project status meetings with assigned clients.
  • Report on website performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.
  • Present digital work and marketing reports to clients, gathering feedback and liaising with internal teams where necessary.
  • Analyse digital campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Stay up to date with digital technology trends.

 

Must-haves.

  • Proven experience within a marketing or digital agency
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Excellent customer service and account management skills
  • Confident verbal and written communication
  • Experience working on website development projects


Nice-to-haves.

  • Hands-on experience with SEO/SEM tools
  • Experience managing Google and Microsoft Ads campaigns
  • An understanding of affiliate marketing, display (including programmatic),
  • SEO and email marketing
  • A solid grasp of online marketing tools and social media platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and a love of insight-led decision making
