Creative Director/Designer

Position: Part time
Salary: £400-£450 per day

Location: Kent
Ref: LYJ-001

**UPDATE
I’ve had a lot of good creatives get in touch for this role, so at the moment I’m not looking for anybody else.

A lovely new client of mine, a full-service marketing agency, is looking for a part-time
Creative Director.

You’ll be from a design background and you’ll love creating ideas as much as executing them.

You’ll have B2C and B2B experience and happy working across a variety of channels and
mediums.

From Visual Identities, branding and rebranding to photography, websites, brochures and all things online.

They are one of Europe’s fastest-growing international full-service marketing agencies and
although their aim is to be in a position to hire a CD full-time in the future, right now the CD
is only needed on a freelance basis.

It will be a minimum of two weeks a month, sometimes three. This may suit someone who doesn’t need to work a full month or someone who has other clients they can juggle around this role.

Or maybe it’s perfect for that person who has a part time passion they love doing.

It’s hybrid working and you’ll be in their Kent based office a couple of times a week.

In their own words ‘We are a lean, agile and highly motivated company that punch above our weight with the clients we have, and yet, we are small enough to truly care about the people we work with’.

What they are looking for in their new CD:

  • Experience across both the B2B and B2C sectors.
  • A team player with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, but also a good listener.
  • The ability to understand clients and build trusted relationships.
  • An awareness of current trends in advertising and design.
  • A self-starting attitude and an open, honest and positive outlook.
  • Resilience under pressure and against deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the software and applications involved in the creative process.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the creative industry, demonstrating a deep
    understanding of the craft.
  • A track record of holding similar senior creative roles, such as Senior Designer or
    equivalent positions.

As a creative, your portfolio is of utmost importance, so please make sure you send me a working link to your website or a PDF of your work. If you don’t, you won’t be considered for the role.
