Position: Full-time
Salary: £70k-£75k
Location: Kent
Ref: LYJ-002
A wonderful opportunity has just landed on my lap from another new client!
They are an independent, growing, Kent based advertising agency who are on the hunt for a senior copywriter who is looking to step up into a Creative Director role.
The co-founder and creative partner is looking to be less involved over the next
couple years, with the new senior copywriter eventually taking the reins.
They’re after a writer who is driven by the search for a big idea in even the smallest
briefs, but will also craft powerful and engaging messaging and narrative.
Those ideas will span across all mediums, including TV, Print, Posters, Websites,
Content, Banners, Social and occasionally In-Store and Events.
So one day you might be writing a TV script, the next some copy for a Landing Page
and the next day might see you ‘banging’ out headlines for banners.
It really is a mixed bag!
You’ll be part of the senior agency team and as the role evolves into the CD position,
you’ll contribute to the direction of the business, new biz development, and help the agency in finding new opportunities with existing clients.
You’ll work closely with the current CD, obviously, as well as the strategist and the
creative department
They may be an independent creative agency outside London but their ambitions
and commitment are still very high. They are happy with where they are but want to be better and bigger.
Are you the one to help them?
You’ll be expected to go into the agency 4 times a week.
What else?
If you’re ready to make the move from copywriter to CD in the next couple of years,
I’d love to hear from you.
You’ll earn between £70k-£75k (DOE) whilst a senior copywriter and as the role
evolves into a CD role, you’ll get an increase in salary.
