Digital Designers with strong motion skills, this one’s for you!

One of my clients is looking for a Digital Designer with great motion skills to create engaging motion graphics and animations for digital channels, supporting campaign storytelling.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a wide range of projects, working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. You’ll play a key role in crafting engaging digital experiences, with a focus on strong visual design and motion-led content.

You’ll need to be self-motivated and proactive and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined environment.

You’ll be working on a big financial brand so experience within that sector is desirable.

This is NOT a hybrid role, you’ll be in their London office every day.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality digital assets across integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Create engaging motion graphics and animations for digital channels, supporting campaign storytelling and user engagement.
  • Edit and optimise video content for digital platforms, working with existing footage and templates where appropriate.
  • Interpret briefs and contribute to creative concepts, developing layouts, storyboards, and visual ideas.
  • Work closely with designers, copywriters and marketing teams to deliver cohesive creative output.
  • Present design work clearly and confidently, incorporating feedback effectively.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of design accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively within a fast-paced environment.

 

Must-haves:

  • Tools: The usual proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).
  • Design Skills: Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography and branding.
  • Motion Design: Experience creating motion graphics and animations (After Effects).
  • Video Editing: Working knowledge of video editing and post-production (Premiere Pro).
  • Communication: Strong presentation and collaboration skills.

 

Nice-to-haves:

  • Digital Production: Basic understanding of digital production (asset formats, responsive
    design requirements)
  • HTML5: Exposure to HTML5 banner workflows or working alongside developers
  • Figma: Familiarity with Figma.
